Welcome From Your Presenting Sponsor, Sutter Health

To our Friends & Colleagues:

We’re thrilled to see you next month for the 53rd annual Capitol-to-Capitol program. Let the countdown begin!

Like so many of you, we eagerly look forward to our time in DC each year to champion the collective needs and policy goals of the Greater Sacramento Region. This is a unique opportunity to bring together diverse industries to advocate for our regional interests with one unified voice – because we know we are more impactful together.

Cap-to-Cap is a chance to step away from business as usual to reconnect with old friends, build new connections, share learnings, and collaborate to develop bold projects and partnerships. We’ll return home with best practices that will spark change and innovation in our communities, helping to build a brighter future for all of us.

As presenting sponsor of this year’s program, we at Sutter Health look forward to joining you in DC to advance the continued health and prosperity of the Greater Sacramento Region.

2025 Legacy Gala

After a full day of impactful advocacy, join us for an unforgettable evening of fine food, entertainment, and celebration of the historic wins we've achieved together for California’s Capital Region.

This year’s Legacy Gala will be held on Tuesday, May 6th, at the stunning National Building Museum—a landmark known for its grand architecture and rich history. This black-tie event will honor the spirit of regional collaboration that defines Cap-to-Cap and set the stage for the future we’re building together.

Worried about our carbon footprint? Worry no more!

SMUD is sponsoring offsets to reduce our delegation’s carbon footprint by retiring greenhouse gas credits for each Cap-to-Cap participant.

About SMUD's 2030 Zero Carbon Plan:

For decades, SMUD’s been a leader in clean energy and carbon reduction. Our 2030 Zero Carbon Plan continues this commitment. Our goal is to reach zero carbon emissions in our power supply by 2030 – the most ambitious goal of any large utility in the United States. SMUD’s innovative, environmentally sustainable approaches have helped put the Sacramento Region on the map as we showcase how forward-thinking strategies can foster a successful, carbon-neutral economy. Going absolute zero-carbon is a bold and ambitious goal – one that’s imperative to the health of all our communities.
