Grant Opportunity: Capacity Building for Small CBOs (Community-Based Organizations). This solicitation will fund multiple small Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) serving children and families in Miami-Dade County to build their organizational capacity. This is NOT funding for direct services. Eligible applicants must be nonprofit, have a current operating budget between $50,000 and $500,000, and have a leadership team member who will participate in this two-year intensive organizational capacity-building initiative. Individual funding award amounts to support the implementation of the organization’s capacity-building plans will be in accordance with the total agency budget. KEY DATES: Release Request for Proposals (RFP): April 3; Bidders’ Conference: April 6, 9-11:30 a.m. via Zoom; Funding Applications Due: May 1; New 2-year Funding Cycle Begins: October.
