Dear Members of Hamilton Lakes Swim & Tennis Club,

After the first couple weeks of our pool being open, we continue to be pleased with our attendance and the respect the members have shown for the changing atmosphere of signups, chair cleaning, breaks, etc. As a Board, we have evaluated our capacity numbers AGAIN and have decided to increase them by 50 making the new capacity 230 people. We are still well below our recommended numbers.

The pool hours will be adjusted in the mornings due to swim teams practicing at our facility starting on Monday, June 1st . Beginning Monday, the pool will open at 11am everyday with the baby pool opening at 10am. We will continue to stay open till 9pm every night. As our staff continues to relentlessly clean the pool deck and bathrooms, we will also suspend the 30 minute shutdowns.

As of Monday, June 1st, the Board has also decided to suspend the shift signups till they are necessary again. We will move to a counter system at the front desk. Management will have an app that will keep track of our capacity numbers. If we reach capacity, we will send out a text message letting the membership know. You are also welcome to call the pool number to check the capacity at 336- 299-9646. (We may choose to have a shift signup again for very busy days like July 4th or heavy weekend days if we see that it is necessary.)

Please also remember that we are not allowing visitors to the pool until further notice. Due to capacity restrictions, we want to hold those spots for our members. Thanks again for your patience and cooperation as we continue to make these changes to best suit our members. As always, if you do not feel comfortable enjoying the pool and the outside atmosphere or if you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 or are not feeling well, please stay safe at home.

Thank You!
Andy Knick and the HL Board of Directors

**More info to come about the text messaging alert system!!! Stay tuned.
Before you can visit the pool this year, members will need to sign a Hamilton Lakes release waiver. Click button to sign!
