32nd Annual Rockport Community Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 30 | 2 PM Sharp
Bring the kids to Millbrook Meadows for the annual Rockport Community Easter Egg Hunt and photo opp with the Easter Bunny. Donations are are still being accepted and always greatly appreciated. Small prizes may be dropped off at the Rockport branch of the Institution for Savings or at the Chamber office. Financial gifts are also welcomed (to offset costs of the prizes) and may be made online or at the Chamber office.

Swing into Spring 2024

Join the Businesswomen of greater Cape Ann for the Second Annual Swing into Spring Golf Event at Sun ‘N Air Golf Center in Danvers. This event is great for those just learning the game of golf or seasoned golfers looking for a spring tune-up. Up to 12 women will be accepted each day. For the first hour, two instructors will help players understand the full swing, starting with grip, set up and stance. The short game (chipping and putting) will also be addressed. The second hour includes on-course playing instruction for up to 3-holes on the Sun ‘N Air practice course.

Cape Ann ARTWaves to Present: Why I Create

From 2020 through 2022, co-producers Jacqueline Ganim DeFalco and Kristine Fisher conducted interviews with local artists in a series called Cape Ann ARTWaves. The interviews, kickstarted as a way to keep in touch during the COVID-19 Pandemic, have become a tool to promote the cultural economy and to provide an important historic perspective on the creativity that emerged during the pandemic. Gertrude Cawein at Hammond Castle Museum:
An exhibit of nearly 60 works by Eric Pape

Join us for a very special fine art exhibit, “Gertrude Cawein at Hammond Castle Museum,” featuring the works of Eric Pape (1870 – 1938). A former Annisquam resident and designer of the Tablet Rock Memorial in Gloucester’s Stage Fort Park, this exhibit marks a homecoming for this extraordinary collection of nearly 60 pieces from Pape’s extensive portfolio spanning his entire career and many not publicly seen since his death. At the heart of this exhibition is the full-length portrait of Gertrude Cawein (oil on canvas, 75 x 52 inches framed), painted by Pape in 1907 and loaned by the Filson Historical Society in Louisville, Kentucky. For the first time outside the Filson, visitors can witness this rare example of Pape’s work as a society portraitist. Buy Tickets
