Event Participation Opportunities
Cape Cod 5 is sponsoring the 4th Annual Cape Cod PRIDE Festival on Saturday, June 22 at the Village Green in Hyannis to celebrate and connect the Cape's LGBTQ community, and we are looking for volunteers to staff the Bank's table at the festival.

The Harwich Ecumenical Council for Housing (HECH) 2nd Annual Mini Bob Murray Housing with Love Walk will be held on Thursday, July 11 to benefit HECH's affordable housing programs. Walkers will depart from Holy Redeemer Church in Chatham at 9:00 a.m. and continue 7 miles to First Congregational Church in Harwich for lunch. Cape Cod 5 is a supporter of the walk, and we invite employees to participate.

John Fulone, Director of Product Management, was recently elected to the Advisory Board at Saint John Paul II High School in Hyannis. Saint John Paul II High School is Cape Cod's only Catholic secondary school. John will serve a three-year term on the Advisory Board.

Cape Cod Baseball League Game Nights
Cape Cod 5 is once again sponsoring the Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL), each individual CCBL team and the Martha's Vineyard Sharks. Cape Cod 5 sponsored game nights will be held throughout the summer along with Banking Center events held the day of the game, featuring CCBL players, ice cream and giveaways. Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce Meets with Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism
Over Memorial Day Weekend, in his role as incoming Board Chair of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, Bert Talerman and other members of the Chamber met with Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker and Keiko Orrall, newly appointed state director of the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism (MOTT), to discuss the modernization of the Canal area transportation infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient travel to and from Cape Cod.

Intern Welcome Breakfast

WE CAN A Day of Words, Wit and Wisdom
On Thursday, June 6 WE CAN held its 15th Annual Day of Words, Wit and Wisdom at the Wychmere Beach Club in Harwich Port. Cape Cod 5 was the presenting sponsor of the event, which is WE CAN's largest fundraiser of the year and supports the organization's many programs and services offered to women undergoing life transitions across Cape Cod.

2nd Quarter Regional Meetings Continue
Members of Cape Cod 5's Relationship Teams and Corporators met this week to discuss Economic Sustainability and Workforce at the Mid Cape and Nantucket Regional Meetings, as part of the 2nd Quarter Regional Meetings series. The Mid Cape meeting was held on Wednesday, June 5 at the Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis, and the Nantucket meeting was held on Thursday, June 6 at the Nantucket Hotel.

Wellfleet Sprint Triathlon
The Wellfleet Sprint Triathlon, presented by Community Radio WOMR, was held on Saturday, June 1 starting at Long Pond in Wellfleet. The triathlon, which was sponsored by Cape Cod 5 and benefited WOMR and Outer Cape Health, consisted of a 1/4 mile swim, 10 mile bike ride and a 5K run. Cape Cod 5 employees volunteered at the Bank's table and handed out promotional items to participants.
