Taught by highly qualified, trained instructors, these programs are tailored for students entering kindergarten through grade 12 and are open to all students regardless if they attend CCA or another school.
College Essay Writing Workshop
Cape Cod Academy will offer a dedicated summer session to prepare rising high school seniors with their college admissions essays. One-week workshops are being offered in person at Cape Cod Academy during the week of July 11-15, 2022. Students can choose to attend a morning session from 10:00 am. – 12:00 p.m. or an evening session from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Each session is $750 per week, but CCA students receive a discounted rate of $600. Participates need to bring their own laptops.
Students will brainstorm, outline, draft, and revise their college essays in one-on-one sessions with an instructor and group settings. This workshop is tailored to students who are just beginning their essay process and also for students who have completed a draft essay but seek improvement and feedback to ensure their essay is admission-ready.
Experienced education consultants, Suzanne Greenwald and Sarah Feldman of Crossroads College and Career Consulting, will lead the workshops, providing guidance and coaching from topic selection to final draft. Interested students can register to attend by clicking here.
