Thank You for Participating
in Giving Day
|
We did it! We are so grateful to our entire community who came together yesterday for our second annual Cape Cod Academy Giving Day. We surpassed our goal and raised $71,314 for the Cape Cod Academy Annual Fund! This is a 31% increase over last year!
This is a tremendous tribute to our faculty and staff and will have an immediate impact on our students' experience. We cannot thank you enough.
|
A highlight of Giving Day was welcoming Hasbro President/COO and CCA alumnus, Eric Nyman '90, back to campus. Mr. Nyman spoke to all of our students in grades K-12 about his creative journey from CCA through his long career at Hasbro. He inspired, encouraged, and challenged students to identify what they do best, overcome objections, and follow their passions. Thank you for spending the day at CCA, Eric!

All-School Multicultural Luncheon Returns to Cape Cod Academy
Cape Cod Academy's Annual Multicultural Potluck Luncheon will be held next Wednesday, April 5th. The entire school community will have an opportunity to sample a variety of international foods honoring the dozens of international cultures represented at our school. We are happy to resume this school tradition which was last held in 2019, before the pandemic.
This Multicultural Potluck Luncheon is open to all K-12 students, faculty, and staff. It will take place in the lower school gym on Wednesday, April 5 from 11:30 - 12:10 p.m. for lower school students, and from 12:15 - 1:35 p.m. for middle and upper school students. The menu will consist of traditional ethnic dishes served buffet-style. CCA families, students, and faculty are encouraged to contribute a food that represents their heritage or a culture whose language or traditions are familiar. Decorations, flags, artwork, artifacts, and signs are welcome and will be displayed. If you haven't signed up yet to bring a dish or volunteer, please do so by clicking here or on the link below. The success of this event relies on community participation, so please help support this CCA tradition.
