Grandparents' & Special Friends' Day

Thank you to all our visitors who attended Grandparents' and Special Friends' Day today! It was wonderful to see returning grandparents and special friends, and to welcome new members into our community. The students were excited to introduce their teachers to you and to share the work they do every day here at CCA. Your presence is what makes this day so special.
US Students Prepare for Mock Trial
A group of Cape Cod Academy students are competing in Mock Trial, a competition in which students simulate a real trial. Each year, the Massachusetts Bar Association hosts the statewide Mock Trial Program, which gives high school students the opportunity to learn more about the law, court procedures, and our legal system. This week, Jack Keenan, a retired lawyer, visited our students to talk about the criminal case they have been assigned.
Student Spotlight

The Cape Cod Swim Club had a meet last weekend at the YMCA in Barnstable. Sally Wray '24 made the cut for the New England 15-18 Age Group Championships that will be held at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute pool in March 2022. Sam Dai '22 had a good meet also, recording Personal Bests in the 50 Free, 500 Free, 200 Breast, and 50 Fly. The New England group covers swimmers from MA, NH, RI, & VT. Congratulations to Sally and Sam!

PARENTS ASSOCIATION
Thank You From the Parents Association
Thank you to all our families who purchased Smith Family Popcorn, an event sponsored by the Parents Association. We are pleased to share that our community bought $8500 worth of popcorn, with 30% of the sales being donated back to the PA for PA events and Teacher Appreciation.

Also, thank you to those who were able to join us on Wednesday at Titcombs Bookshop in Sandwich for a special holiday shopping event. Twenty percent of all the sales is being donated back to the PA. If you were unable to attend, Titcombs Bookshop will extend this special opportunity for one week after the event, which means you can shop through November 24. If you visit Titcombs now through November 24, be sure to mention Cape Cod Academy when you are checking out. You can also order online, but please include a note with your online order that says that it is a Cape Cod Academy order.
School Store is Open for Shopping

The school store is open in Chope Commons. A variety of items, including fleeces, jackets, hats, and sweatshirts are available for purchase. Families can also purchase Cape Cod Academy spirit gear and accessories from Lands’ End (#900184656) and Sideline Sports.
