Many of us remember hydrangeas from our childhood...but it is time to fall in love with this varied plant all over again! With an amazing number of cultivars there is a color and style to suit just about everyone. And Cape Cod has an especially hydrangea-friendly climate. |

We are delighted to be principal sponsors of the Cape Cod Hydrangea Fest. This Cape-wide event spans 10 full days and includes daily tours of private gardens, workshops and lectures presented by leading international horticulturalists and gardening geeks.

But there is more sooo much more to Hydrangea Fest. This year at Hyannis Country Garden we are kicking off our participation in Hydrangea Fest tonight (7/7) with a party at Cape Cod Beer. In order to serve a larger number of our customers, C.L. Fornari will be staffing a Consultation Table every Friday during the growing season. Customers can bring in photos of a specific location on their property for design suggestions, plants for identification, or problem solving. Stroll with a member of the HCG staff through the garden center to hear about great plants and garden care, while having your questions answered. Walk and Talks typically last 30 to 40 minutes, and will be held rain or shine, except in extremely stormy weather. Bring pen and paper, and your phone for taking photos. We'll meet you at 4 pm on the assigned day, out on our patio.

We tired HCG Associate Miss Black Beary out as we worked on our Hydrangea displays today...she found welcome shade under some enormous Endless Summer Hydrangeas and took a break.

In addition to loving cats, we are dog-friendly at HCG. All well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome at Hyannis Country Garden...in fact we've put water bowls out for them around the nursery. We've got pet food, treats, and toys for dogs and cats alike.
