Cape Foundation launches new Grantmaking Academy to train the next generation of SWFL philanthropists
We are building a network of next generation philanthropists and civic leaders.
At the Cape Coral Community Foundation, we use a place-based grantmaking approach that focuses on strengthening and connecting nonprofit organizations and their leaders in Southwest Florida neighborhoods and communities.

Learn how we accomplish the following:

  • Address local and regional priorities - helping residents tackle challenges they define as most important;

  • Value civic engagement - helping people practice and grow the habit of active citizenship;

  • Build community - helping individuals come together to improve the quality of life where they live.

  • Connect donors with their passion - helping donors learn the ways to give through the community foundation.

The Cape Coral Community Foundation staff will train and guide you through the process. Come away with an expanded network, new skills, best practices and emerging trends.
