As we approach the final sprint towards the end of this semester, it's important to reflect on the journey we've all embarked upon. These months have been a testament to our resilience and determination, filled with challenges that have tested us in unprecedented ways. Yet, amidst these trials, there's been ongoing displays of strength, adaptability, and mutual support within our CapU community.

Let's take a moment to acknowledge your collective hard work and the accomplishments you've achieved. As we look forward to a well-deserved break and a new beginning, let's carry with us the hope and lessons learned, ready to embrace the opportunities that lie ahead.

This academic year’s Capilano University Teaching and Learning Symposium will take place on April 24, 25, and 26, 2024. More information in the upcoming months, but for now, please mark your calendar. 

As the end of term approaches here are a few tips to help things run smoothly: 

• Make sure that your gradebook is set up so that it’s easy and intuitive for students to follow their progress.  
• Teaching multiple sections in one course shell? Set your course settings to Separate or Visible groups and use group filters in Grader Report to help you record grades in Banner.  
• Course shells are available for next term. Get a head start on importing your course site. Can’t access your previous course site? Send a request to AskIT@capilanou.ca.
