Head Coaching Appointment
Boise, ID -- 03/15/2021 -- Capital High School is pleased to announce the following coaching appointment, effective immediately.  
Alexander Erazo - Head Varsity Boys Soccer Coach

Coach Erazo is an experienced head soccer coach who has led and developed high-quality programs dedicated to player achievement on and off the field.

During his six year career, Coach Erazo has served as:

  • Boys Soccer Varsity Head Coach, Pendleton High School, Pendleton, Oregon (2018 to current);
  • Boys & Girls Varsity Assistant Coach and Boys Junior Varsity Head Coach, Green Canyon High School, North Logan, Utah (2017-2018);
  • Youth Soccer Coach, Infinity Soccer Club, Logan, Utah (2016-2017);
  • Boys & Girls Varsity Assistant Coach and Boys Junior Varsity Head Coach, Logan High School, Logan, Utah (2016-2017); and
  • Youth Soccer Coach, FC Bayern Utah, Logan, Utah (2014-2015).

Coach Erazo's soccer teams have enjoyed success, including going undefeated during the season, earning a regional championship, placing second in the state playoffs, reaching the state quarterfinals, reaching the state semi-finals and taking first place in a youth soccer tournament. In addition, his teams at Pendleton High School broke numerous school records and earned high academic marks.

Coach Erazo attended Utah State University, Logan, Utah; Blue Mountain Community College, Pendleton, Oregon; and Mountain Crest High School, Hyrum, Utah.

“As a coach I’ve been blessed with some of the best mentors in the business that have helped establish my beliefs as a coach," said Coach Erazo. "I believe that being part of the program is more than just what you do when you're on the field, it’s about the person you are when representing the program in public and in school. I believe in hard work and dedication, but encourage creativity and enjoy a good time.”
