Jeremy Munroe
has been selected to serve as Capital High School's new Athletic Director, effective for the start of the 2020-2021 school year.
Mr. Munroe has served public school students in Idaho since 2010. During that time, he has worked as a social studies teacher (Jerome High School, Jerome, ID - 2010 to 2016); Vice Principal (Jerome High School, Jerome, ID - 2016-2017); and Athletic Director, Vice Principal, District Title IX Coordinator (Jerome High School, Jerome, ID - 2017 to present).
In addition, while in Jerome, Idaho Mr. Munroe served as Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach (2016-2019); Head JV and Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach (2010-2015); Head Boys Track Coach (2015--2016); Assistant Track Coach (2011-2014); Head Freshman Football Coach (2010); Head JV Football Coach (2011-2013); and Varsity Football Assistant Coach (2010-2014). He also coached NBC Camps Basketball Tour Team-Germany (2018), and in Italy (2019).
Mr. Munroe is a dedicated and knowledgeable educator committed to making a positive difference in the lives of students. He believes any student can succeed and achieve any goal if they work hard, have a positive outlook and receive caring support.
Mr. Munroe earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in History from the University of Idaho, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education - History/Political Science from the University of Idaho, and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Idaho.
