Capital Metro to Expand Pickup Service
On-demand transit service will operate 6 days a week

Capital Metro will expand the service area and times for its on-demand Pickup service. Beginning Oct. 2, Pickup by Cap Metro will operate six days a week, Monday through Saturday. It will also take riders between Pickup's service zone and MLK Station.

We launched the service in June, bringing ride-hailing to public transit with the help of our partners Via, and it's been a huge hit. In fact, it's been such a success that we're now making it available way more often!

On weekdays, it'll operate between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., and on Saturdays, you'll be able to request a ride between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. We'll also bring riders between the service zone [see map at] and MLK Station, offering train riders help with getting to and from work.

This pilot project is schedule to run for a limited time and will operate through May 2018. To use the service, download the Pickup by Cap Metro app from your app store and get started. It's super simple.
