With Gratitude to Tristen Davis and Sophia Wilson
Please join us in thanking Tristen Davis and Sophia Wilson, who will be leaving Capital University to pursue new opportunities.
Tristen has been at Capital for nearly five years, most recently as Associate Director of Student and Community Engagement and as an adjunct instructor. She led community engagement and voter education initiatives, supported student-facing programs in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and Smooth Transitions, collaborated with Social Work as a task instructor, and launched the Cap Closet alongside the Cap Cupboard.
Sophia has also served Capital for nearly five years and currently is the Director of Student and Community Engagement, partnering across campus to support student organizations, signature programs in SCE and Diversity and Inclusion, and initiatives that strengthen student belonging and success. And let’s not forget her role as a loving caregiver for Archer.
Transition planning is underway to ensure continuity of support for students and campus partners.
Students, faculty, and staff are invited to stop by the lobby of the Student Union this Friday, February 27, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. to wish Tristen well. Details about a farewell gathering for Sophia will be shared soon.
Thank you, Tristen and Sophia, for the time and talent you have given to our CapFam.
