Congratulations to the Class of 2018! Members of the newest graduating class at Capitol have officially marked the completion of their degree programs. We celebrated their achievements on Saturday (May 12) at the university's commencement ceremony, held as always on the Capitol campus -- but in a slightly different location due to construction of our new residence hall. Marianne Meins, vice president at Parsons, was our commencement speaker.

Also in this edition, the university's Space Flight Operations Training Center (SFOTC) provides the venue for a different kind of final exam, and we speak with Dr. Chanel Suggs -- cybersecurity professional, STEM and diversity advocate, and alumna of Capitol's DSc program.

HermesMeins: Outlook Bright for Capitol Tech Grads

Marianne Meins, VP for critical infrastructure strategy at Parsons, said the Class of 2018 has the skills that a technology-driven economy needs.

HermesYour Final Exam: Recover a Spacecraft!

A ground systems engineering course utilizes the dynamic flight simulator housed at Capitol's Space Flight Operations Training Center (SFOTC).

Dr. Suggs, a passionate advocate for STEM education, believes it's urgent to get kids engaged early on.
