We have had a bunch of successes. We just had our second meeting Oct 10 (details here). We had a speaker come and talk about Transportation Levy 1 which will be voted on this November 5th. We also talked about how the group is growing. We have several virtual meetings coming up to provide a chance to reach out and work together to make Capitol Hill even better.

We are partnering with the SIFF/Egyptian theater to host an election watch party November 5th from 7pm-11pm. The event is free, but tickets are required. More information will be able available on the CHCC website or in the next update

December - One Big Idea

For the December meeting we are looking at allowing the community to do a few minute presentation about a great idea you have for Capitol Hill. The idea can be big or small. More information will be available soon. But if you are interested in helping filter the ideas or look them over drop us a line at chcc.officers@gmail.com

Virtual Volunteer Fair

You can see in the next events section a Virtual Volunteer Fair. These are simple Zoom meetings we are opening for anyone who wants to help out. Maybe you want to drop in to say that you could help the newsletter use consistent formatting. That would be great. You can also email us or fill out one of the surveys.

Strike Force Meeting

We had our first "Strike Force" Meeting last month. This is what we are calling our leadership/more involved group. We will be having two this month (Oct 17 and Oct 24). Come check it out and help the group find out how to make Capitol Hill the best.

Thanks for reading this far. We at the CHCC thank you for being engaged and understanding. Launching (or relaunching) a group like this is difficult. There are so many pieces to get right (from donations, website, etc) and all the pieces we don't (getting this newsletter out faster.

Let us (neighbors) work together to make Seattle (and the area beyond) a better place.
