Last night at 12:44 am Eastern, the Full Moon Eclipse occurred in the sign of Capricorn, depicted by the ancient symbol of the Goat Fish. This eclipse raises issues of creative individuality, authority and the mastery we seek to stand in alignment with our true nature.
The celestial mechanics helps
sync us up with the collective needs of our times without losing our vital life-line to spirit, as individuals. It's a collective coming of age where we are asked to grant ourselves the authority to stand in what we value and trust in who we are as a primary feature to healthy homes and communities.
Meanwhile, Pluto, Jupiter and Saturn move in and out of Capricorn this year, something that has not occurred since the ancient state of Babylonia emerged in Mesopotamia, approximately 4,000 years ago. Today, as social structures fall and the pandemic sends pulses of uncertainty across the globe, there is no more business as usual. The strength of our internal structure is being revealed. A substantial weight is being transferred from the societal structures most depend upon, to the ways we, as creative individuals, hold ourselves, families and communities.

We are confronting the systems of oppression. We are cooperating with those that share our values. We are discovering our deeper allegiances to justice, dignity and respect for each other and the diversity of life on Earth.

As we move through this final lunar eclipse in Capricorn, I raise my palms to the sky and pray we can all feel at home, here, in the bodies and natures we have been given, a vital-living-part of the great circle of life. I pray that wherever we are on that journey, we can come to deeply respect life on Earth and the diversity, magic and mystery (threats, viruses and bugs, too!) that can make it an outrageously beautiful place to be.
With heart and hands,
