We are saddened to share with you the passing of Captain Shawn Braaten of the MCSO. Captain Braaten died last Thursday from complications due to COVID. You likely saw his smiling face greeting you as he stood out in front of our building on the High Holy Days and Sunday mornings (YEP!) from the time we moved into our building. He provided security for us and we came to know him as a caring friend with a huge smile, a kind and reassuring presence for the families of Congregation Kehillah.
