Parent Commitment Cycle 3
Six weeks ago, each family was asked to select either an in-person or remote/virtual learning setting for each of their children. We appreciate your attentiveness to this task as it enabled us to plan for the successful return of students to campus.
The decision you made for Cycle 2 remains in place for this school year unless you communicate to us a change in your learning preference. The window to communicate any change for Cycle 3 opens next week and runs from November 9-13.
If you would like to submit your learning setting change for Cycle 3 (December 7 - January 28), then please complete this short form: https://bit.ly/Cycle3Learning
If you plan to stay with your current learning setting, then you do NOT need to do anything else at this time.
|
Parents, we encourage you to create Parent Portal Accounts so that you can access your child's grades and attendance. Parent codes were sent to HISD student email addresses. If you need your access codes, please email Debbie Campbell.
HISD Connect is our new tool to use for parents and students to check attendance and grades. Click here to view a tutorial on using the Powerschool App.

Drive Through Food Drive - Rescheduled The Italian National Honor Society (INHS) is organizing a Food Drive for the Houston Food Bank, but this time, due to the pandemic, we turned it into a Food Drive-Thru. On November 14th, we will be collecting the food items at the Maple Street Circle Drive between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. To ensure safety for everyone, all volunteers will wear masks and gloves.
Unlike previous years, The INHS will not be able to offer a tiramisu to the class who collects the most cans, but they can still keep track of your donations and bring you a box of Baci Perugina!! We hope that you will spread the word and donate! The Italian National Honor Society and their sponsor, Ms Borsa, want to thank you in advance for being active members of our amazing village!
