Memorial Day Holiday Monday

Monday is a school holiday. Students will return to school on Tuesday, May 28th.

Senior End of Year Schedule

Seniors follow their regular schedule until Friday, May 31st. Next week seniors who have been enrolled in Credit Recovery Courses should begin working in them immediately. Seniors with NGs should complete their hours as assigned by Ms. Frank to clear their NGs. Seniors who were enrolled in Texas College Bridge through their English or Math course need to submit and complete all requirements. Students who have not closed out these items will continue to work on them next week in the assigned locations. Seniors that have completed all items will begin following the daily activities for Seniors on May 31st. If you have any questions, please reach out to your counselor. A copy of the schedule can be downloaded here.

If a student did not pay Senior Dues they can purchase a Cap and Gown at Senior Checkout on June 3rd for $50.

Senior Check-Out

Seniors will complete a check-out process to be cleared through all departments. Seniors can download a Check OUt Sheet here. Check out sheets must be completed and turned in to receive a Cap and Gown on June 3rd.

Laptop Collection

All laptops are due May 29th – May 31st. Students will visit the Tech Room at assigned times with their English classes to turn the laptop and charger in.

NGs for ALL Students

If a student has an NG in a class this is the last week to complete your hours. All credit restoration should be completed and a signed form turned into the Main Office no later than May 29th. Students received emails from Ms. Frank with hours that were required.

Textbook Collection

Textbooks can be returned to the Book Room 1700 during Cardinal Hour.

Summer School

Summer school enrollment notifications were sent to students via their HISD email address this week. Summer School will be June 17, 2024 – July 19, 2024, from 8 am – 2:45 pm. We highly recommend that students who are behind on credits attend summer school to recover any lost credits and get back on track for graduation. Questions about the courses a student was assigned to should be directed to the student's counselor. Logistical or enrollment questions about summer school should be sent to our Summer School Coordinator, Ms. Giesemann.
