PARENT FACEBOOK GROUP

If you're on Facebook, be sure to join our private Facebook group, exclusively for Cardinal Neman parents. It's a great place to ask questions, connect with other parents and stay up-to-date on everything going on here at school.

This group is private, and for parents only. To maintain the integrity and privacy of the group, all requests will be vetted, and you must answer all security questions before joining. You can join, here!

PARENT PORTAL

The parent portal will be your key to success! You can find nearly everything you need there to get set up for success. To access the parent portal, visit our website and scroll to the footer. Listed under Parents & Students, you will find a link to "Parent Portal." From there you will enter the passkey: Cardinals24!

In the Parent Portal you will find forms, guides, and resources to just about anything you might need. Some tabs are currently unlinked, which means we are updating them for the upcoming school year. We'll be sending updates and reminders about other features in the portal over the summer, as each becomes more timely. When in doubt, check the portal!

SUMMER LEARNING

All students will complete some academic work over the summer, in an effort to keep them engaged and avoid the "summer slide." The workload should be relatively light, as we also strongly believe it's important for students to take time to really enjoy their summer! Summer work can be found in the Parent Portal. If you have any questions, please contact your student's teacher, Mrs. Fallaw, or Mrs. Watson.

SCHOOL UNIFORMS

If you need to purchase uniform pieces, please look in the Parent Portal for information on the dress code and how to buy uniforms. You may also want to familiarize yourself with the dress code. This can also be found in the Parent Portal. There will be a used uniform sale this summer, and once a date has been set we will let you know!

We are aware that plaid skirts are not yet available from Land's End. Until they become available, female students will be allowed to wear khaki skirts in lieu of plaid on formal days. Once the plaid skirts are made available, families will be given an appropriate amount of time to purchase them and khaki skirts will then no longer be allowed as part of the formal uniform. We will do our best to keep you informed on this issue.

Please make sure you review the dress code before purchasing new items. Students will be written up for uniform infractions. We appreciate your help in ensuring all of our students are dressed appropriately!

MEDICAL FORMS

If your student has asthma, allergies or medicines that need to be administered during the school day, please be sure to fill out the necessary paperwork, by selecting "Medical Forms" in the Parent Portal. If you have any questions or concerns about your student's medical needs, please contact Nurse Shellenberg.
