Looking ahead to spring and summer!

As we look ahead to the spring and summer season, there is a lot of excitement building in Community Education! We are busy preparing a wide variety of programs and opportunities for kids, families, and community members to stay active, engaged, and connected all summer long. We are excited to launch our new registration site on Monday, April 13 through ARUX. We are excited for many reasons, but also that it is made and supported in Minnesota!

The many reasons why we LOVE ARUX and can’t wait to share it with you:

● Flexible Access: Users can create accounts via email or social sign-on options like

Google, Facebook, and Apple.

● Mobile Compatibility: The platform is entirely mobile-friendly, allowing for registration on the go.

● Language Support: A globe icon allows users to select their preferred language.

● Advanced Search: Families can filter programming by time of day, day of the week, age/grade, and category.

● Modern Payments: Multiple payment methods are accepted, including digital wallets like Google Pay and Apple Pay.

Our Summer 2026 catalog went through a new branding, so be sure to watch for it in your mailbox! We are excited about the new things to come in Annandale Community Education!

We are also excited to share that Preschool Registration for the 2026–2027 school year is open and still has availability! Families can complete registration online, and we encourage early enrollment to secure your spot in our high-quality preschool program.

Thank you for being a part of our Annandale Community Education programs. We look forward to a strong finish to the school year and an incredible summer ahead!

-Tiffany Grube, Community Education Director

Thank you!

Thank you to our community for organizing and providing pizza, snacks, and pop for our staff on Monday, March 30th. Your kindness and thoughtfulness means a lot and was truly appreciated. It was a great way to bring everyone together and feel supported.

Safe Routes to School

Minnesota Safe Routes to School (SRTS) is a statewide effort to make it safe, convenient, and

fun for all youth to walk, bike, and roll to school and in daily life. Walking or biking to, from, and

during school is an easy way for students to get exercise, stay healthy, and arrive at school

ready to learn.

This year, the City of Annandale and Annandale Public Schools are working with funding from the

Minnesota Department of Transportation to create a Safe Routes to School plan. The plan will

recommend ways to make walking and biking to school easier, safer, and more comfortable for

students, families, and community members.

The City of Annandale has been awarded planning assistance from the Minnesota Department of

Transportation to create an SRTS Plan for Annandale Elementary School, Middle School, and High School.

The website below links to a survey that asks about caregivers’ and students’ feelings about

walking and biking to school, and a web map where community members can add comments

about specific locations where there are issues or opportunities to improve walking and biking.
