Hello Junior High Families,

I hope everyone is enjoying these final days of summer! While I know there is still time left to relax, I must admit that I’m getting very excited about the start of another wonderful school year! I can't wait to welcome everyone back!

As we kick off the school year, I wanted to remind you that I will be sending a weekly Junior High newsletter throughout the year. These newsletters will be your go-to source for important announcements, upcoming events, reminders, celebrations, and everything happening in our Junior High community. My goal is to help keep families informed and connected all year long.

One of our first Junior High fundraisers, the Fall Mum Sale, begins on Wednesday, August 5. Proceeds from this fundraiser will help with the cost of our annual 8th Grade Trip and other Junior High Events. Each family will receive an email with a personalized fundraising code that can easily be shared with friends and family for online orders. A paper order form will also be sent home during the first week of school for anyone who prefers to order that way.

We are excited to reward our students for their hard work during our Fall Flower Sale! Students can earn the following prizes based on the number of items they sell:

• Sell 5 items-- 1 Dress Down Day
• Sell 10 items-- 3 Drink & Snack Tickets to redeem anytime with Ms. Leyba
• Sell 20 items-- Pizza Party
• Sell 35 items-- DoorDash Lunch for you and a friend



I will be available at both our Back to School Bash and Junior High Orientation to answer questions and help families get started with the fundraiser. It was a tremendous success last year, and with everyone's support, I'm hopeful we can make this year's fundraiser even bigger and better!

Finally, don't forget that our Back to School Bash is on Wednesday, August 5, and Junior High Orientation will be held on Thursday, August 6, with both events beginning at 6:00 p.m. These events are to learn about the upcoming school year, and get excited for everything ahead. We hope to see all our Junior High families there as we celebrate the beginning of another fantastic year at Cardinal Ritter!

¡Hola, familias de Junior High!

¡Espero que todos estén disfrutando de estos últimos días del verano! Aunque todavía queda tiempo para relajarse y crear recuerdos en familia, debo admitir que estoy muy emocionada por el comienzo de otro maravilloso año escolar. ¡No puedo esperar para darles la bienvenida de nuevo a todos!

Al comenzar este nuevo año escolar, quiero recordarles que estaré enviando un boletín semanal de Junior High durante todo el año. Estos boletines serán su principal fuente de información sobre anuncios importantes, próximos eventos, recordatorios, celebraciones y todo lo que sucede en nuestra comunidad de Junior High. Mi objetivo es mantener a nuestras familias informadas y conectadas durante todo el año escolar.

Una de nuestras primeras actividades de recaudación de fondos para Junior High, la Venta de Crisantemos de Otoño (Fall Mum Sale), comenzará el miércoles 5 de agosto. Los fondos recaudados ayudarán a cubrir los costos de nuestro viaje anual de 8 grado. Cada familia recibirá un correo electrónico con un código personalizado para la recaudación de fondos que podrá compartir fácilmente con familiares y amigos para que realicen sus pedidos en línea. Además, durante la primera semana de clases, enviaremos a casa un formulario impreso para quienes prefieran hacer sus pedidos de esa manera.

¡Estamos muy emocionados de premiar a nuestros estudiantes por su esfuerzo durante nuestra Venta de Flores de Otoño! Los estudiantes podrán ganar los siguientes premios según la cantidad de artículos que vendan:

• Vende 5 artículos: 1 Día de Ropa Libre (se llevará a cabo en una fecha designada).
• Vende 10 artículos: 3 boletos para bebida y refrigerio, que podrán canjear con la Sra. Leyba en cualquier momento durante el año escolar.
• Vende 20 artículos: Fiesta de Pizza.
• Vende 35 artículos: Almuerzo de DoorDash para ti y un amigo.

Estaré disponible tanto en nuestro Back to School Bash como en la Orientación de Junior High para responder cualquier pregunta y ayudar a las familias a comenzar con la recaudación de fondos. ¡El año pasado fue un gran éxito y, con el apoyo de todos, espero que este año podamos hacer que la campaña sea aún más grande y exitosa!

Por último, no olviden que nuestro Back to School Bash se llevará a cabo el miércoles 5 de agosto, y la Orientación de Junior High será el jueves 6 de agosto. Ambos eventos comenzarán a las 6:00 p.m. Estas actividades son una excelente oportunidad para aprender más sobre el próximo año escolar y entusiasmarse por todo lo que está por venir.
