Dear Parents,
Today at Cardinal Ritter High School our students reenacted the Way of the Cross for the student body. For us it symbolizes a journey that we make with Jesus. This presentation allows us to share in some way with Christ’s suffering and death. This devotion allows all of us to think about the sacrifice that Christ made for us.
Our students do such an incredible job! What a remarkable testament to their Catholic school.
We hope that you and your family will take time this weekend to join with all Catholics to remember what Christ’s sacrifice meant and to also celebrate the event that gives us hope. “Jesus who was crucified, he has risen”
God Bless,
Mrs. Hoy
Estimados padres,
Sra. Hoy

|
Cardinal Ritter, with the support of Versiti Blood Center of Indiana, is having a blood drive on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Students who are 17 years old or older can sign up to donate blood. Students who are 16 years old, may still donate, but will need to have their parent sign a consent form. Parents, teachers, and staff are also invited to participate. Please consider donating; local hospitals depend on the generosity of donors to provide this life-saving treatment to people in need.
Parental consent forms are available in the school clinic. Please note, all donors must present a photo ID and weigh at least 110 pounds. Student athletes should check with their coach about competitions and practice days before signing up. You may safely donate whole blood every 56 days. You may sign up by following the link above, or in person during lunch the week preceding the blood drive. Students who participate will be able to count this as 1 service hour. If you have additional questions, please contact Laura Valle, our school nurse.

Another email about the SAT? Yes.
If you’ve checked your inbox today, you’ve probably already received the email we sent your teen about the SAT. In case you missed it, your teen’s counselor has got you covered too.
The SAT is designed to support the choices juniors will make about their life beyond high school. In fact, millions of students take the test each year as a step on their path to college. It's a globally recognized test that's the best way to show off the skills and knowledge colleges care about.
Registration for May is open, and seats are available.
P.S. Think colleges in your state prefer ACT® over SAT scores? It isn’t true. Learn why.
