Prayer for Students

Lord our God,
in your wisdom and love
you surround us with the mysteries of the universe.
Send your Spirit upon these students
and fill them with your wisdom and blessings.
Grant that they may
devote themselves to their studies
and draw ever closer to you,
the source of all knowledge. We ask this through Christ our Lord.

R/. Amen.
CYO Camp Rancho Framasa’s Confirmation Day of Reflection is open to all Jr. high and Sr. High Confirmation Students. The day mixes catechesis, witness talks and activities which are designed to provide an encounter with Jesus as youth prepare for Confirmation.

Camp staff will facilitate and chaperone the entire event. Parents/Youth Ministers are welcome to drop their children off and spend the day in Nashville or return in the afternoon to pick up their participant.

The afternoon rotations will be divided among age groups. While there is a significant developmental age range between Jr. High and Sr. High students, the activities have been selected because of the ability to process them in several ways to adapt to each age group.

February 6, 2021 9:30-5pm
Fee: $30, includes lunch.
Participants may register individually or as a group. Registration will close at 30 participants.

THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES COACH HUNT
After 15 years as the Head Football Coach for Cardinal Ritter High School, leading the Raiders to 5 State Championship Game appearances and winning 3, Ty Hunt has reached this pinnacle of excellence and has decided to pursue other challenges. In the quest of winning, Coach Hunt has always remained steadfast in teaching the importance of family, education and most importantly Cardinal Ritter High School’s Catholic values.

The Cardinal Ritter community is forever grateful for the many years of guidance Coach Hunt has given to not just the players on the team but the entire Raider community. He will be missed immensely but we wish him well in his decision to go in another direction in his football coaching journey.

Junior and Senior Parents

Last year ISTEP+ testing was interrupted due to COVID-19. The state of Indiana has set a plan for juniors and seniors who need to retest to test in February for ISTEP+ in English/Language Arts and Mathematics. Testing will be February 4-18. It is paper/pencil and will not be online. The window for testing closes on Feb 19. Therefore, only one day is allowed for makeup sessions.

If your junior is an online learner this year, someone from the guidance office will be in touch with you to work out a schedule.

Please contact Mrs. Lettich in the guidance office if you have any questions at jlettich@cardinalritter.org or call (317) 924-4333 ext. 423.

Junior Parents

The PSAT will be offered for all juniors to take on Tuesday, January 26th. A letter was sent home before Christmas Break with this information as well as a sign-up form. If your student plans to take it, please have your student return the form to the guidance office by next Friday, January 15th. Juniors who take the PSAT can potentially qualify for the National Merit scholarship program. Plus, it is great practice for when they take the actual SAT.
