Dear Parents,

As we enter the month of May, we are reminded that this is an important time of both celebration and focus for our students. Today, we held our May Crowning ceremony, a beautiful tradition in which we honor Mary during this special month dedicated to her. Our seniors, dressed in their graduation gowns, led us in this prayerful moment as a crown of roses was placed on Mary. It was a meaningful reminder of our Catholic identity and the example of faith, humility, and trust that Mary gives us.

As we move closer to the end of the school year, it is very important that students remain focused and finish strong. Attendance matters. Each class period provides important instruction, review, and preparation, especially as final exams approach. Please encourage your child to be present, engaged, and committed to doing their best through the very last day.

On Monday, students will receive the spring final exam study table schedule. We will be encouraging students to look carefully at the schedule and make a plan to attend the study tables that will best support them. These sessions are a great opportunity for students to ask questions, review material, and prepare well for their exams. The exam schedule is included in this newsletter.

Please also take time this weekend to check your child’s grades in PowerSchool. If there are missing assignments, low scores, or concerns, now is the time for students to talk with their teachers and make a plan. We want every student to end the year with confidence and a strong sense of accomplishment.

This week, we also celebrated International Week. Students participated in different dress-down themes, enjoyed a seniors vs. faculty soccer game, and heard student-led morning prayers in different languages. These celebrations gave us a wonderful opportunity to recognize and honor the many cultures represented in our school community. Next week, some of our students will also perform traditional Mexican dances for the student body, continuing this celebration of culture, tradition, and community.

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and we have some fun activities planned to celebrate our amazing teachers.  We will have ways for our students to share their appreciation too.

Finally, AP testing begins next week for some of our students. Please keep these students in your prayers as they prepare for and complete their exams. We are proud of the hard work they have put into these courses throughout the year.

Thank you for your continued support. As we enter these final weeks, let us work together to help our students stay focused, finish strong, and celebrate all that they have accomplished this school year.

Estimados padres:

Kari Jost,  Directora

MAY CROWNING

THE CLASS OF 2026

FIDDLER ON THE ROOF

Students in Ms. Viglietta 3D Art Class got a chance to work with glass and they crushed it. Every student received the choice of making a hot glass paperweight or a fused glass artwork. The hot glass process includes working with 2100 degree molten glass and using tools to shape and form the material. Fused glass is a much more relaxed approach, working with cold pieces of scrap glass to compose a design that will later be melted in a kiln and fused together.
