Dear Parents,

As we end this school year, I want to thank all of you who have been such a great support of our mission this year.

These next few weeks will be filled with so many activities as we prepare for final exams and graduations. Please know that we will distribute exam cards next week.

Additionally the Business office will be sending out volunteer hour statements in the next week.

Next year will provide so many more opportunities for parent involvement. Please consider serving as a Parent Club officer or a Parent Club class representative. We are looking for 2 representatives for each class and 5 executive officers. Please contact me if interested. jhoy@cardinalritter.org

We are still registering for next school year. If your student hasn’t registered please do this as soon as possible. We are already full in our 8 th grade with a waiting list for next school year.

Our Junior class leaders have helped us put together a promo video for next year’s uniforms. Please be on the lookout for the launch on our website!

God Bless,
Mrs. Hoy

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

On Wednesday the TV Broadcasting class made a trip to the University of Indianapolis to tour their facilities and learn more about the broadcast program at UIndy. After the tour, which included getting in front of and behind the cameras, the class had a chance to ask question to some students from UIndy about the program and college life in general. We would like to thank Scott Uecker, Dr. Steven Koehn and students from the Department of Communication for taking time to talk with the class.

Camps are in-person day camps that will meet on IUPUI's campus in Indianapolis, no overnight housing is available, but meals are provided.

IGEI offers students an intensive summer experience where international and U.S. high school students come together in a collaborative digital environment for learning opportunities, workshops, and design labs, which will strengthen their skills in leadership, entrepreneurial design thinking, and global citizenship. The activities include:

•A real consulting team project to solve a challenge for an international client.•College-level workshops with Lehigh faculty, global entrepreneurs, and expert professionals.•A “deep dive” into a chosen focus area of Sustainability, Population Health, or Product Design.•A personal strengths-based leadership assessment and coaching workshop.•Cultural exchange, virtual tours, and fun activities with your virtual roommate, fellow IGEIers from around the world, and Lehigh University student mentors.

The IGEI program runs from June 27 - July 22, with both synchronous and asynchronous activities occurring each weekday. Program fees are $2900, with limited financial assistance available to those who request and qualify. Additional information and applications can be found on our website: go.lehigh.edu/igei.
