“As the Father loves me, so I also love you." John 15:9
Message From The President

Dear Parents,

We’re making the days count at CRHS and not just counting them down. I am so grateful to be able to end this year with our students in the building. It has not been without its challenges but nevertheless we are here.

I want to also take the opportunity to thank all of you who attended or purchased items at our Raider Rev Up on May 1st. It was a great evening. Special thanks goes out to the Special Events Committee and special thanks to Mike & Emily Webb, Missy Roberts, and Rebecca Byrnes for sharing their talents during set up!!

Our Spring Concert was held on Wednesday. Even though the audience was limited due to COVID we still had over 400 viewers of our live-streamed event. We definitely have some talented students. Thank you to Ms. Leyba and Mrs. Summers for inspiring them.

Big thanks also to the parents who took time off today to help our Biology teachers with our annual zoo trip. It was a great day!

I am equally thankful to be able to join our Juniors and Seniors at Prom this evening. What a difference a year makes.

Parents, I am asking that you help us at the end of this year to get some feedback as it pertains to the climate of the school. The survey link here: Climate of the School Survey
and on our website will help us evaluate our overall performance. Please take a few minutes to complete this so we may better serve our families.

Thank you for your help.

God Bless,
Mrs. Hoy

Georgetown University wants to help
your students find their calling

Georgetown University recently created a new opportunity for your high school students to explore courses that might help them better prepare for college majors.

This flexible online program is designed for high school students, ages 13 and older. It enables them to investigate subject areas of particular interest.

Why Georgetown? Georgetown University’s approach to education is unique. We follow the Jesuit tradition of cura personalis—care for the whole person—and our goal with this new program is to provide a holistic experience. Students deserve the opportunity to develop their own talents and dreams, and this program will help them do that.

Personal mentoring for guidance—flexible learning format
  • Mentorship: High school students will participate in live, online group sessions with a Georgetown University mentor who assists with brainstorming on their final project and answering questions about assignments. Mentors are Georgetown students and alumni who are well-versed in the subject area of the course. They also share information on college majors and careers.
  • Flexible learning: Course lessons are delivered by renowned professors through dynamic videos, allowing students to study anytime that fits their schedule.
  • Certificate of Completion from Georgetown University: Students earn this recognition when they finish the course successfully.
