Prayer for Students

Lord our God, in your wisdom and love you surround
us with the mysteries of the universe.
Send your Spirit upon these students and fill them
with your wisdom and blessings.
Grant that they may devote themselves to their studies
and draw ever closer to you, the source of all knowledge.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

R/. Amen.

Time for our annual Haunted Halls. Kindergarteners from West Deanery Schools received treats from several classroom, had a snack and Mrs. Hoy read the story of "There was and old lady who swallowed a bat". Spiderman and Batman also made an appearance.

DOD Field Trip to the

Global Village Art Gallery

What a great experience as the students got to see their works of art proudly displayed

in a culturally rich, public venue!

Mrs. Bell's Organic Chemistry class travel to Butler University last week. Dr. Ann Wilson (Dept. of Chemistry), hosted a lab experience for them on the Determination of Melting Points and Thin Layer Chromatography. Dr. Wilson is the Professor for the Butler Indianapolis Community Requirement Course in which students partner with community members. This is a new class offered at Butler and we were the first group of high school students to be a part of it. It was a fantastic experience! They also had a tour of the newly renovated Science building as well as brand new laboratories built at Butler.
