Dear Parents,
What a week we have had here at CRHS! Monday we celebrated our veterans with our Veteran’s Day liturgy. We were honored with the presence of some veterans who have children or grandchildren here at Cardinal Ritter. We also had the Color Guard present while we presented the Roll Call of the Fallen, deceased friends and family of Cardinal Ritter staff and students who have served in our Armed Forces. Veterans, we thank you for your service to our country and appreciate the sacrifices you have made so that we might have freedom.
Later, Monday afternoon, we welcomed Sara Bacon, Class of 2015, a silver Olympic medal winner, back to honor her with our Cardinal Ritter Legend’s Award. Our students showed her so much love with their cheers!
Today we will be mailing home your child’s progress report. Yes, somehow we are already halfway through the second quarter. Just a reminder that all teachers have tutoring times when your child can get extra help. Next week we will send out the teachers’ study tables for final exams.
Just a reminder that on Tuesday, November 26 we will have our Thanksgiving Luncheon where all of our teachers and students will sit down together for a meal. This is a mandatory day of attendance for the entire day which means that if a student is absent, a doctor’s note is needed in order for the student to be excused. An unexcused absence means that a student does not get to make up missed work.
In this season of Thanksgiving, I thank you for being a part of our school community. Continue to pray for our community and world as we continue to pray for you and your family.
In Christ’s Peace,
Kari Jost
