CELEBRATING HISPANIC HERITAGE
A BIG thank you to all our parents who donated food, helped serve and stayed to clean up today!
BIG thank you also to Mrs. Lippe, Mrs. Saucedo, Mrs. Jones and Ms. Carlos for all their help in organizing our lunch and celebration. Additionally, thanks to Dulceria, El Caramelo in Pike Plaza for donating the Pinatas and candy for Cardinal Ritter and St. Michael-St. Gabriel.
As I told the students today, we are so blessed to be supported by so many parents who gave of their time and talents to make this day special.
God Bless,
Mrs. Hoy
Sra. Hoy

Dear Raider Families,
Today we held our Hispanic Heritage Lunch Festival, and it was a beautiful day. It was so impressive to see our Hispanic families contributing, sharing, and celebrating alongside us. The richness of our cultures is part of what makes Cardinal Ritter who we are, and days like today remind us that every student and family belongs here and has something to offer. Thank you to everyone who made this celebration possible
.
Parent-teacher conferences will be held this Monday, October 19, and Tuesday, October 20, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. each night. To help spread out attendance, we ask that families with last names beginning with A–L attend on Monday and families with last names beginning with M–Z attend on Tuesday. That said, please come whichever night works best for your family. We would rather see you than miss you. Please bring your student with you. Conferences are most productive when students are part of the conversation about their own learning.
You will receive your student’s first quarter report card at conferences. If your student is disappointed with a grade, please remind them that this is not the final word. The semester grade is calculated as follows: first quarter (40%), second quarter (40%), and the final exam (20%). Semester grades are the grades that appear on the transcript, so there is still plenty of time to improve.
Tuesday Evening Meetings for Junior High Families
- 6:00 p.m. – 8th Grade Parent Meeting: We will share details about the upcoming 8th grade trip.
- 6:30 p.m. – Junior High Parent Meeting: Come learn more about the transition to high school and what to expect in the years ahead.
Fall Break
Fall Break begins Thursday, October 22, and students return to school on Tuesday, October 27. Wednesday, October 21 and Tuesday, October 27 are mandatory attendance days. Students who are absent on either of these days must provide a doctor’s note in order to be excused. Please plan travel accordingly.
Traffic Pattern Update
Thank you for your patience with our new traffic pattern. Overall, we are doing a good job, and arrival and dismissal are moving more smoothly. One request: please do not park along the road or in the back lot while waiting. Although it may seem faster, it creates congestion and slows the line for everyone. Staying in the designated pattern keeps traffic moving and keeps our students safe.

Thank you for your continued partnership. We look forward to seeing you next week, and we wish you a restful Fall Break.
Go Raiders!

Estimadas familias Raider:
Preferimos verlos a no verlos.

¡Vamos Raiders!

Send your Spirit upon these students and fill them
