Mrs. Hoy Marian class wraps up Hispanic Heritage Month by creating Ofrendas

An ofrenda is an altar or offering that is built to honor deceased loved ones during the Day of the Dead celebration. The word "ofrenda" is Spanish for "offering". 

Students from St. Susanna stop by Cardinal Ritter this week for a Shadow Day and end up getting into a pick up basketball game with Father Jack and some Raiders.

We had a successful STEM Town Hall this week with three second-year medical students from Marian University. The med students did a great job talking about their paths to med school and what medical school is like.

CRHS National Honor Society Induction Ceremony

Thursday Cardinal Ritter High School inducted new members & installed new officers into the National Honor Society. The new officers are Yordanos Fisshaye-President, Ayana Griffin-Vice President, Sarah Bishop-Secretary, Zita Eke-Treasurer and Bethlehem Seyoum-Sergeant at Arms. New member into the National Honor Society are Marisa Albright, Layla Anderson, Robyn Buck, Emily Cesnik, Ann Chlupacek, Miriam Danek, Macie Dill, Anabella Drake, Sawyer Finke, Elliott Gambs, Jesus Garcia Velasco, Itzell Jose Gracia,  Lucas Jost, Harrupinder Erica Kaur, Dylan Lisher, Mark Liston, Kara May, Kristine Nwanegbo, Jose Alfredo Ochoa, Joselyn Platero, Rikki Shanks, Denise Silvestre, Nate Smith, Eva Valle, Dalena Voegele.

The Raider Football Team advances in the sectional playoffs by beating Park Tudor last night 34 to 18. The Raiders will take of the Lutheran Saints next Friday.
