Construction & Parking Update
|
|
Dear Parents,
I wanted to give a quick update on parking at Cardinal Ritter High School. As we begin construction of our new entrance, we wanted to make sure you are aware of changes to entering the building.
Drop off will be at the rear gym entrance #4.
Visitors may enter at our south entrance #14 where there are 5 visitor spots.
For handicap access please use door #9 behind the school.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but we are so excited about our new addition. Please give us a call if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you again!
God Bless,
Mrs. Hoy

Dear Parents,
What an exciting time it is to be a Cardinal Ritter Raider! This week we celebrated an exciting Homecoming week with hallway decorating, a service project, a schoolwide liturgy, the annual powderpuff game, and a pep rally filled with student participation and competitive games between the classes.
This week we started seeing workers outside our main entrance to begin construction on our expansion. This next week the lobby will be blocked off as they begin building a temporary construction wall.
In the next few days, you should receive your child’s progress report in the mail. Remember that you can see grades the moment they are entered in the gradebook by accessing PowerSchool. If you are having difficulty with this, please contact the guidance office (317-924-4333 ext. 420). Your student’s grades can change quickly, so make sure you take a look to see how they have changed since the grades were due last week. If your child has zeros, it is possible that your child has missing work. All teachers put in zeros until the work is completed, so be sure to ask your child about missing work and their opportunities to make up missing work.
One last item - next Friday there will be a link to a survey in this newsletter for you to take to give us information about how you perceive the school climate. Your children will be taking a similar survey on Monday during the school day. It is important for us to know how our parents and students feel about the climate at school, so please take a few minutes to complete this survey.
We love working with your children, and we appreciate you sending them to Cardinal Ritter.
In Christ’s Peace,
Kari Jost

Prayer for Students
Lord our God, in your wisdom and love you surround
us with the mysteries of the universe.
Send your Spirit upon these students and fill them

R/. Amen.

COVID-19 Update
Again this year, the Marion County Public Health Department (MCPHD) is using the following system to track COVID-19 infection rates in area schools:
- Schools with fewer than five cases will be classified as green.
- Schools with five or more cases and with case rates that are near or higher than the overall County rate will be classified as "potentially red" or "potentially orange.” Schools will only become "red" or "orange" if MCPHD identifies cases as having in-school links, such as through classrooms or school activities.
Every Friday, the MCPHD will update our level based on the previous two weeks. Their system is not yet up and running this week, but we hope to have information to report next week.
