Dear parents
There is something I want to ask of you—not simply as the president of Cardinal Ritter, but as someone who believes deeply in what this school means to our students and our community.
We need you.
Cardinal Ritter is blessed with dedicated teachers, coaches, staff, and administrators who give so much of themselves to our students. But a great Catholic high school cannot be sustained by its employees alone. It takes parents volunteering. In my last letter I spoke of the changes surrounding volunteer hours. We have seen a decline in parent volunteers especially athletics. We need all of you to step up and help. Every parent that has a student participating in a sport should sign up to volunteer for at least one event.
| Our Junior High has their Fall Festival coming up. We need your help to make these events a success. | |
You don't have to volunteer every week. You don't have to take on a major leadership role. Start with one event. One afternoon. One game. One project. One opportunity to say, "How can I help?"
This year, I hope we can build a culture where volunteering is not something left to the same small group of parents who always seem to be there. I would love to see new faces, new ideas, and more of our families sharing their gifts with our school.
Let’s see how many of you can get your first 5 hours in by November 1.
Thank you in advance for giving your time ,talents and presence to help make Cardinal Ritter the extraordinary place our students deserve.
God bless
Mrs. Hoy

Queridos padres
Sra. Hoy
