Distance Learning - Bellaire@Home

We are committed to continuing our practice of strong communication each week.  We have created a specific web page for parents that will hopefully serve as a one-stop-shop in terms of resources and responses to questions and concerns.  Included on that web page is our daily schedule, log-in information for all of our platforms, contact tech support form and even more. It's a great site to visit weekly for important updates.  You can access DistanceLearningBHS here

FFA Bellaire Auction Moves On-Line
Bellaire FFA students may have been dealt a weak hand after numerous livestock show cancellations this year, but their continued dedication through these tough times has remained strong. With the recent district closure due to COVID-19, students have been left to care daily for animals while they remain uncertain about what the future may hold. Most people would become overwhelmingly discouraged and give up during this time but not these FFA students.
For the first time in 60 years, the Bellaire FFA Livestock Show and Auction was cancelled by district, city and county officials. This week was to be the school's 60 th Annual Livestock Show and the highlight of the year for its members. The show brings numerous alumni, district officials, community businesses, and supporters out to their agriculture facilities located off Riceville School Road. Although this year will be much different than in year's past, students will still be able to sell their prized animals online through the website  www.stockshowauction.com. The online auction is actively running and will continue through 5pm CST this Saturday, April 18 th. The site features Bellaire FFA members along with photos, videos and short biographies students have uploaded under each of their sale lots as well as the  Bellaire FFA Livestock Auction catalog . This catalog highlights the chapter, its members, results from the 2019 Show & Auction and numerous advertisements from local businesses and supporters. Prospective buyers and followers that visit the website can  register  t o purchase these animals and/or give add-ons to sale lots which help support student's recoup expenses incurred while raising these projects. All purchases and add-ons are tax deductible and will be invoiced soon after the conclusion of the sale. For all questions or inquiries about the sale please visit the Stock Show Auctions website or Bellaire FFA Advisors.

I hope you are staying safe and 6 feet apart!!! I have a few VERY important messages for completing your final semester of high school and graduating.
  1. Be sure you have connected with your teachers and counselor so you are aware of what you need to do to graduate and complete the year!!
  2. You DO NOT need to request final transcripts at this time. Final Transcripts will not be ready until after graduation.
