UIL One Act Play Performance
Good Luck to our One Act Play Team as they enter UIL competition this weekend!

Wellesley Girl by Brendan Pelsue is a play that takes place in the future - a politically fraught future - that resonates with many of the issues pressing on American society today. The play concerns itself with the specific relationships of the characters and the ways in which they all survive in this new America, where every adult is a member of congress and they have no knowledge of or communication with anyone outside. Our company of actors and technicians has worked diligently and passionately to examine the issues facing this society and to bring it to life for you.

June 1st Make-Up Date
HISD announced that the makeup day for last Friday's closure will be Monday,  June   1st. This additional day  does not impact our graduation date. The Class of 2020's graduation will still be held Saturday, June 6th at 7:00pm at NRG Stadium.
CoronaVirus and Exemption Modification for Final Exams
Last night the HISD Interim Superintendent, Dr. Grenita Lathan, sent an email message out to the community regarding a CoronaVirus Update.  A copy of the message can be accessed here .  As a measure to ensure proper health guidelines are followed, HISD has authorized high school campuses to modify the attendance requirements when it comes to student exemptions for final exams.  In the past, there was a limit of three unexcused absences. Working in alignment with the update from the HISD, we are removing the cap on the number of excused absences to be exempt from the spring final exam. Further details on this adjustment will be shared after we return from Spring Break.
