My name is Bethany Perez. I am an alumni of Sacred Heart along with the current Athletic Trainer. I have been a certified personal trainer for over 8 years, a certified Athletic Trainer for 10 years and have a Masters Degree in Health and Wellness Management. I enjoy working with young athletes because of their positive attitudes and their eagerness to learn. At this level, I can see improvements being made and a true difference in athletic performance. This will be my fourth year helping direct the summer conditioning program at Sacred Heart.
Strength and Conditioning:
This summer the strength and conditioning program will help every athlete to improve their strength and power. The program will be designed with a focus on Olympic weightlifting techniques, core strength and plyometrics.
General Conditioning:
This summer the general conditioning will primarily focus on cardiovascular improvement along with calisthenic movements. At each session, each athlete will be working towards building an aerobic base which is vital for every sport.
