Varsity Volleyball

Playoffs began last week on Wed Nov 1 as the team played the first round at HOME against Collegiate Baton Rouge. We won in 3 straight sets:  25-11, 25-4, 25-6. Kate F. ’24 led the team with 9 kills, followed by Gigi G. ’24 with 5. Taylor R. ’25 had an all time career high of 15 kills.  

On Friday, Nov 3 we played in the second round of playoffs against De La Salle at HOME. After winning in 3 straight sets (25-12, 25-9, 25-13) the team has punched in their ticket to the STATE PLAYOFFS in Lafayette.  

Gigi led the team with 12 kills and Kate had 9. Taylor had 4 kills and 9 digs. Caroline B.’27 had 15 assists.

On Thursday, the Quarter Finals will be played at 10:50am vs John Curtis.

Cross Country

STATE BOUND ~ CROSS COUNTRY captures the D2 ~ Region 3 CHAMPIONSHIP on Friday morning in City Park with 31 pts. and all 7 runners in the Top 13 finishers. COURTNEY H. '28 was the Individual Champion with a time of 19:14. The CARDINALS move on to the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP on Monday, November 13 in Natchitoches. The team finished the day with Pizza and a team bonding at The Escape Room, before heading back to school to cheer on the Volleyball team.
