Varsity Volleyball



The Varsity Cardinal Volleyball Team continued the start of the season at the Liberty Patriots Invitational this weekend in Baton Rouge. Our Cardinals went 6-0 to be named tournament champions. Our offense was led by setter Brooke Habetz ‘23 with 80 total assists for the weekend. Hitters Gigi Gibbens ‘24, Cami Davis ‘23, MC Mazzanti ‘23, and Kate Farris ‘24 had over 125 combined kills for the weekend. Leading our defense on serve receive and digs were Katherine Hale ‘23, Lucy Vacius ‘23, and Kate Farris ‘24 with over 75 digs collectively. From the service line, MC Mazzanti ‘23 served 20 aces followed by Kate Farris ‘24 with 9 aces, and Lucy Vacius ‘23 with 8 aces. We are looking forward to another successful week in volleyball as we head to play Cabrini High School on Wednesday, September 7, and open our first home game vs. Kenner Discovery on September 8th. Go Cardinals!

We are so excited to start our volleyball season this week. Our 6th Grade white team will compete in a play date on Friday, September 9th at Trinity starting at 4:25 PM.
