Care Net of Chilton County, Inc. had an exciting year! At the end of 2020 the Knights of Columbus donated a brand-new ultrasound machine to the center. What started as a singular blessing to Care Net, in turn became a double blessing in that we were able to donate our old machine to the medical mission field in Haiti!
Changing the center’s name from Care Net Pregnancy Resource Center of Chilton County to Care Net of Chilton County, Inc. reflects to the community that we are here to be resource to the entire family unit.
Our parenting classes continue to grow, and we are now excited to be able to offer an online option. Our baby boutique opened in January and has provided a unique shopping experience for our parenting class participants. In the boutique they can spend the baby bucks that have been earned by attending parenting classes and bible studies.
Isabella High School opened their doors and allowed us to provide an 8-week parenting class. We are hoping that this will assist us in projects that will be coming for 2022.
While we reflect on a wonderful year behind us, I am focused on the great work ahead of us. There are many wonderful ways to support that allow us to plan and focus more on our mission of-- upholding the sanctity of human life to women facing unplanned pregnancies. Also, empowering fathers, and instilling confidence in the family structure by demonstrating the love of Christ through the provision of spiritual, physical, and emotional support and by the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
A gift of $36 can provide a pregnancy test and family coaching. $250 provides 1 life-revealing ultrasound exam or $250 sponsors one mom for Ongoing Care. There is also an option for you to become an Image Bearer Monthly donor.
