Hopkins, MN School District Launches Career Readiness Initiative


Hopkins Schools is reimagining high school — giving every student the chance to explore careers, gain real-world experience, and graduate ready for a rapidly changing world.

New Addition at Hardin Valley Strengthens Knox County’s Career Academies


Hardin Valley Academy’s new 43,000-square-foot addition opens as part of Knox County, TN continued investment in career-themed education. More than 2,000 students are now enrolled in academies focused on STEM, health sciences, business and law, and liberal arts.  

Fort Wayne, Indiana students blaze trail into new ambassador role


Fort Wayne Community Schools is empowering 170 high school students to serve as ambassadors for career-connected learning. These new leaders will represent their schools, share authentic stories about their experiences, and inspire peers to explore future pathways.

Battle Creek, Michigan Expands Career Learning with New Financial Education Partnership


Battle Creek Central High School is partnering with Marshall Community Credit Union to bring financial education to life through hands-on learning, including a student-run credit union branch and real-world money management experiences.

Student Video Contest: Gateway to the Cosmos — NASA’s Lunar Outpost


ACTE and NASA HUNCH invite students of all ages to enter the eighth annual Student Video Challenge: Gateway to the Cosmos — NASA’s Lunar Outpost. This year’s theme explores NASA’s Gateway as a vital stepping stone for humankind’s return to the moon and exploration of deep space. Students are challenged to imagine its impact on science, technology and humanity — while showcasing the CTE courses and careers that make it possible. Together, let’s celebrate a century of CTE excellence while inspiring the next generation of innovators who will lead us into the cosmos. Open to individuals or teams. Submit a two-minute video by April 1.
