Nominate a Worcester Legacy Business
Launched by the City of Worcester in late 2025, the Worcester Legacy Business Program is a new initiative designed to celebrate the small, locally owned businesses that have shaped the city’s neighborhoods, economy, and culture. These establishments have created jobs, provided essential services, and contributed to the character that makes Worcester a vibrant place to live and work.
Residents are encouraged to nominate a business that has made a meaningful impact in their community. Selected businesses will receive official recognition from the City, promotional materials, and get featured on the City’s Worcester Legacy Business List.
Eligible businesses must have operated in Worcester for at least 10 years, be locally owned and for-profit, employ fewer than 250 people, and demonstrate cultural and community significance. Nominate a legacy business before February 2.
