The CareerSource Escarosa Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) is designed to provide students ages 15 to18 an opportunity to learn valuable work skills working alongside professionals in the community. This is a paid internship, for qualified participants, that will run for seven weeks during the summer. Participants may be able to work up to 30 hours a week at $12 to $15 per hour pending position placement.
Application availability is limited and participants must meet certain family income qualifications. Applicants will need the following documentation:
- State issued photo identification
- Social security card
- Birth certificate
- Proof of income from one of the following:
- 2022 tax return
- Unemployment verification
- Previous 30 day pay stubs
- Employment verification form
- Free & reduced lunch verification
