Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, in partnership with The Miami Foundation, other civic partners and elected leaders, launched “Thrive305” – a powerful and inclusive civic engagement initiative for Miami-Dade residents. This project activated people across the County to inform the Mayor’s action plan and priorities, focused on policies, initiatives, and strategies to drive an equitable recovery and create a thriving community.

The initiative is designed to incorporate public input to inform public policy. A countywide survey and community engagement events engaged residents to provide direct input on County government priorities.
Over 25,000 Miami residents took the survey in February that touched on a broad range of topics that impact our communities. The results of this survey, found at, informed a series of engagement events which focused on deeper, neighborhood-specific issues and solution-oriented workshops. This process will help define the Mayor’s agenda and the Action Plan.
