New Opportunities

For Caregivers of Color

The National Training and Technical Assistance Center for Child, Youth, and Family Mental Health (NTTAC) is pleased to uplift new opportunities for Caregivers of Color from the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA), in partnership with Caregiver Action Network (CAN).

Caregivers of Color:

Join a CAN Roundtable!

These virtual sessions are for parents and guardians of children with mental health conditions to share their stories and lived experiences.

Participants will receive a $100 gift card to a select retailer as a token of appreciation for their contribution and time. Caregiver Action Network (CAN) will hold four roundtable sessions, with a maximum of 10 family caregiver participants per session, so availability is on a "first come, first served" basis.

Following the roundtables, CAN is also seeking caregivers of color to share feedback on the newly developed content resources before they are launched publicly.

CAN plans to share more information about sharing feedback for those who are interested once the content is ready for review. Those who submit feedback will receive a $50 gift card to select retailers.

Availability will be limited, and the group reviewing the content will include family caregivers who participated in the roundtables or indicated an interest in sharing feedback.

Sign-up ends at 5 p.m. ET on March 25, 2024.
