HOW ARE...
Randy Nolan &
Michael Killoren?
Michael writes...
Randy, the scientist, feels like we’re in the middle of a biology experiment, not knowing the outcome. Michael, the artist, is intrigued by the beauty of stillness, yet horrified by the impact on lives and outraged by the lethal ignorance of the president.
As UUs, we are ever more cognizant of the interdependent global web of existence – and searching for ways to heal and connect. We long for a normalcy that seems out of reach, and we pray to listen, and learn from this experience.
We're safe. Secure. Lucky. Grateful. Many aren't. We eat well from Randy's garden and have each other. Many don't. From our fishbowl, we are fragile, dependent and privileged. We have vivid dreams and wake up calls. We promise to emerge better and stronger. We love our church!
