CaringMatters is honored to be named as the 2019 recipient of the Brooks Saltsman Award by the Healthcare Initiative Foundation for our commitment to volunteerism in the health and wellness field. With this honor, CaringMatters is awarded $5,000 in honor of Brooks Johnstone Saltsman. Two AmeriCorps Positions Open
Do you know someone looking to make a difference while gaining valuable career skills? CaringMatters is looking for two full-time AmeriCorps Members (often known as the domestic Peace Corps) for its 2019-2020 service year. Both positions will be based at our Gaithersburg office and support individuals experiencing serious, life-limiting illnesses and grieving the loss of a loved one. Since 2008, Dominique has been with New York Life Insurance Company, an organization committed to CaringMatters' mission and the issue of children's grief. Currently, she serves as the Director of Development for the Washington area. Dominique is currently on our Board's Fund Development Committee.
Erin is a senior manager in CohnReznick’s Bethesda tax practice. She succeeds several of her CohnReznick colleagues who have previously served on the CaringMatters Board of Directors. She is very involved in several initiatives at CohnReznick and currently serves on our Board's Finance Committee.
