Caring for Our Communities: Taking Action to Fight Hunger

Many, including each of us may find it difficult today to stay within our budgets due to the soaring everyday costs.

Sadly, there has been a spike in Americans facing hunger each day including 1 in 6 children.

With the efforts of our annual "Month of Love" Food Drive and as one big caring team/community, we can help the best we can and encourage others to do the same by helping families in need.

Details

The annual ABS "Month of Love" Annual Food Drive is held during the month of February.

Employees have been divided by Greg into two teams: Team Kevin and Team Ryan, both headed up by our Operations Managers. At the end of the month, the team that collects the most items will hold the ABS Cup trophy!

We hope you will join us in this effort to help those in need. We’re confident that together, we’ll make this food drive a success.

At the end of the month, “Move For Hunger” will pick up and deliver the items collected to the donation centers.



In Massachusetts, the donations will be delivered to the Marlborough MA Community Cupboard, and in Connecticut, to the Connecticut Food Share.

Cash donations can be given to your Team Captain and will be used to purchase food items for your Team.

CT Team Ryan is willing to accept cash donations through Venmo @ajax227 or directly.
