Ventas, Inc
( VTR) pays special attention to seniors and the elderly in a manner that few, if any, other companies can claim. In 2015, the company teamed up with the Greater Chicago Food Depository in a $1 million, five-year partnership to sponsor the depository's Older Adult program. In addition, Ventas has made a multiyear commitment to partner with ElderServe. The latter program makes available a range of supportive services that aid older adults in living independently and with dignity.

Caring for those who have become less able to care for themselves is a stellar example of American Values @ Work
